Brace yourself cat fans…coming soon to a computer screen near you…

Wander into the dubious joys of the Electronic Interweb and there are vast numbers of people falling over themselves to design a website for you. No seriously, just Google “web design” and you get nearly 2 billion hits. Most of which seem to be variations on a theme.
You pay your money and you get a site that tries to be so “corporate” it hurts. For a low-low price you can get a website that fits a bog-standard template and does not remotely stand out from the crowd. More to the point you rarely get a free bacon butty with every purchase. Anyone with even a basic knowledge of the internet will tell you that bacon is important.
With that in mind there seems to be little in the way of personal, individual service out there. Go to a large company and you get what you’re given; there tends to be a rather impersonal service provided. Anyone who has ever tried to phone a company for any form of assistance and gets either a recording saying that they’re shut til Monday or a robot asking you to type War and Peace into your keypad will understand what I mean. And does the everyday chap on the street have a knowledge of IT to the point that the phrase “cloud-based web storage solutions” makes sense? A lot of businesses lack a human touch. And bacon.
So, what is an aspiring business bod to do? Do you want your site to look just the same as everybody else’s? Bobbins customer service? Or is there another way…?
Fortunately, there is. With a brief visit to our people at Curlykale you can find yourself in a happy, caring atmosphere that is more like a commune than an office. No shoes, hippie clothing, beards, discussions on the merits of dinosaur vs. unicorn, it’s all here. Not that there isn’t a work ethic: just because we’re all kinda groovy and friendly does not mean we’re not serious.
We will produce trendy, unique design with a personal touch that would make men in suits implode with shock.
And a free bacon sandwich. If you ask nicely.
Thats right fans of business and bacon. Every new website project we receive quoting the super secret password of ‘bacon’ will receive a FREE BACON BUTTY BUTTY with every website.

The bacon butty is provided on a barm, hot, with your choice of no sauce, red sauce or brown sauce.
PS. Every social type of share of this exciting new offer will receive a custom unicorn rendering
If you are a fan of coloured metal and letters being pushed together you may want to pop down to Curlytowers very soon, we have just taken delivery of our shiny new sign!

Good Morning!
Like many things, the alphabet amazes me. We all wonder where things come from and for me this is one of them! After doing a little bit of research I came across some interesting information and images of how design today has adapted to the alphabet and how typography has become a vastly popular in today’s culture.
Where it came from

The alphabet originated from the Egyptians, which was mostly made up of symbols, until neighbouring countries mainly to the east and north – such as the Greeks started using it. Above is what the alphabet in the 1700′s looked like when they started using it! You may notice some letters are back to front or look completely different from how they do now – this is because letters have been rotated, altered, adjusted and adapted.

We’ve now spent a good two weeks in our new home up the road and are really enjoying it here. Lots of lovely clients, current and brand new have dropped in to sample our new coffee and window facilities… I have a curious feeling we may have somebodies old number, a lovely lady rang us up congratulating us on our new born daughter.
