Depending on your companies brief, you may prefer to go for a simple statement logo. On the other hand you may want to create something, extremely clever – like the well known brands you cannot forget.Also above are a few that work particularly well.

I’m not really a TV person, most of it tends to blur into the next program. Every now and then something comes along, something different that catches my eye and soul and hooks me in. Pushing Daisies was one of those. Something completely different and visually gorgeous. Everything was perfect, bright colours, a touch of tim burton, a touch of 1960′s /70′s retro pop. They really took a bold risk with the program.

It didn’t do too well and has now been banished from our screens forever but gained an extremely loyal fan base which I am proud to be part of. My imported Pushing Daisies poster takes pride of place on the wall at curlykale towers.

I’m afraid so Disney Fans… another Disney rant. I think this film slipped through the net. I rediscovered it today and it brought some much needed goosebumps after a hectic day so thought I would share. The joy of this film is that it is Disney taking a subtle laugh at its own over the top antics.

The time spent designing, dressing and choreographing this scene is just impossible to imagine..something only Disney could pull off right.

Equally over the top is the perfect power love ending, with more key changes than the annual locksmith convention in Blackburn.

I love goosebumps. I love the goosebumps you can get when everything is just perfect, the perfect sights, smells and sounds.

I’m sure there are those that hate Disney and the commercialism, and its true they do love taking your coins off you. But in return they allow you to switch yourself off and envelop yourself in a warm, soft smooth world where everything is perfect. Everything has been thought about, everything themed and well designed.

Yet again this only very loosely relates to design…but good design, well thought out art / music whatever is a special thing, and if done very well can bring a shiver, a goosebump or possibly even a slight shudder.

Just by its very nature the internet has become a clutter, anybody can create anything and post it online – this is a good thing of course, the ability for anybody to have to power to create and publish is fantastic.

…Very occasionally I happen across something on the internet that really stops me in my tracks. I love that something exists to deliver these little nuggets of wonderful shivers and goosebumps, three cheers for the internet, and to this wonderful piece of art which caused me to spend £30 on albums and £20 on new headphones from argos!
