I dont really have anything interesting to force upon you, apologies as always with the lack of design / font & colour news. I feel that we should be providing you with up to the minute news on the latest fonts, the latest design trends and the latest colours to be released from pantone HQ… but that wouldn’t be very curlykale. Do you actually care that there is a new red that is a little darker, yet a tiny bit lighter than another one? ..I don’t…is that very wrong of me?

Its been all a go go here at curlytowers ™ We’re growing. We are working on some big things for some rather big chaps, and doing more and more of it every day, and its wonderful. But (apparently (according to dear daddy kale) sentences shouldn’t be started with ‘but’) I’m determined we remain approachable for the everyday chap and lass…nothing gives me greater joy than to hear the knock at the door and a couple walk in with an idea they have been sitting on, the idea that will change their lives, something they have been dreaming about..and they have decided to share it with us. Its a tremendous honour. Its not just a website / flyer / logo, its their life.

It amazes me every day that you guys decide to choose Curlykale, it really does… it means so much.

For somebody who had nothing to say I seem to have crammed a few paragraphs out, apologies once more if you have had to read this. I just want to get across my appreciation for you guys ringing us up, I know there are so many web design companies out there, if I could afford to take you all to Disneyworld I would.

As a thank you (and reward) for reading this, here is some NEW disney fountain action in Paris.

I should no doubt be engaging in an outdoory sporty activity, or maybe taking a walk, or perhaps repainting the shed…I certainly should be using this sunny day to dispose of the last two years Christmas trees which still stand brown and proud, but no. I thought I’d have a little blog ramble.

Once more I’ll dispence with the usual busy busy moan, but lets assume I have just done one. Here at the towers we seem to be growing up. Vicky is now working completely on clienty things and marketing doodahs, Matt has been upgraded (in job status, alas he still has to deal with a lack of pens) and I seem to have less and less time to rant and post blogs on Disney fountains and splash alterations.( check this link out, I was literally mind blown with this revelation)

No matter how big or busy things get, I’m determined we will stay approachable, camp and ever so slightly odd. The day we ever get a big boardroom table, a company gym membership, highlighters or enough chairs is the day it all must end!

I do hope you are outside reading this on some trendy format of technology. If you’re reading this on a Tuesday and its raining and dull outside, I hope this ramble brings a tiny bit of sunshine back into your brain.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time this week driving up and down the country chatting with people, inspiring people, devoted and driven people, all passionate about their businesses and just needing a little help with the marketing side of things…and not wanting to pay a big trendy scary design company.

I harp on about this all the time, but I/we are really passionate about helping people out, from people just starting out in business who need everything from copy writing to photography and branding, to some bigger guys expanding and needing some corporate bits and bobs (and needing them right away! (Believe it or not, today I was on the capital centre car park whipping up an extremely last minute advert that was needed in 15 minutes (brackets in brackets in brackets- really? (yes) ))

Running a business is hard work. Everybody is out to get your money. I hope Curlykale is a safe haven for all business souls looking for a friendly honest chat and decent(ish) coffee. Give us a bell, come and have a rant, marvel at our window and ample parking facilities, drink our coffee, sit on a dangerous chair, lets get down to some work.

Fear not brave Blog reader, for this is a short blog posting. I have mentioned it time and time again, but our clients are gorgeous, wonderful, inspiring people. I feel so lucky that we seem to attract such wonderful business folk into the Curly fold.

I adore the knock at the door, the jingle of the phone, the twerrrrrring of twitter to see who’s getting it touch…every day at Curly Towers ™ is so fantastically different to the one before it.
